The ranking was compiled by Stefan Tanase from Kaspersky Lab, at Webstock. It is made in 2009.
1. January 2009: massive spam campaign on LinkedIn. Pictures of naked celebrities, leading to malware
2. February 2009: first commercial tool to do spam on Twitter. Anyone impossible to follow so many more people on Twitter, and can give updates automatically
3. Aprile 2009: emergence of a worm on Twitter developed a couple of 17 years, who subsequently received a job in an IT company
4. April: Twitter hack the admin panel of a French-looking. A number of passwords of emails were obtained in this way

10. August 2009: Twitter bootnet attacked. It is suspected that the substrate was political: a political blogger in Georgia had silenced
How you can see Twitter is in the top with 7 of 10 attacks on their network. So why I should get a virtual life on a social network ? To have my informations hacked and after that to find out that my other accounts have been hacked too ? Really, I don’t want to.
